Living Green Class Series: Waste Reduction!

Learn how to reduce your environmental impact and carbon footprint both at home and in our Living Green class series led by Green Mission Specialist Sean Mahaffy. Sean will discuss topics such as direct and indirect emissions, pre-cycling, waste streams, resource management, operational expenses and energy consumption. Health and Nutrition Class: “Spring Cleansing”

Join nutritionist and natural foods chef Alana Sugar as we mark the end of winter and the beginning of spring with a special exploration of Healing Foods and the many different healing/cleansing options to begin the season of rebirth and renewal. We’ll cook up a cleansing, nourishing soup of miso, carrots, onions, and spring onions. We’ll add a healthy “probiotic” salad of leafy spring greens tossed with salad dressing made from Kefir.
