Thought I’d expand the NoVa Whole Foods calendar to include more adult offerings, including wine and cooking classes. All classes are free, but you should register to ensure you can attend.

Whole Body Cleansing Seminar (Reston)

All donations to be received by 8:00 p.m.
Every year food banks across the country run very short of supplies after the holidays come to an end. Help us by gifting non-perishable foods. We will be working with Reston Interfaith and Food For Others to ensure the donations reach families in need in our local community.

Mommy & Me! (Fairfax)

Join us as Miss Celia returns for her much anticipated Mommy & Me class on snowy fun. Children will make bird feeders out of pine cones and peanut butter. Miss Celia will bring her guitar and there will be music sing-a-long and treats for the children as well. Cooking Class: Hot, Healthy Stir-Fries for Cold Winter Nights (Springfield)

Stir-fries are a great after-work meal on a cold winter night. They’re quick, spicy, and vibrant. Tonight you’ll join Demo Specialist Janelle Cesari as she prepares some of her favorite stir-fry dishes using a variety of colorful vegetables and lean proteins. Take-home recipes provided. This month Chef John O will take us on a safari underground to the land of root vegetables. A great seasonal staple, root vegetables can be prepared in innumerable ways-sautéed, baked, sweetened, and steamed. There’s more to roots than yams and potatoes! Football Cook-off (Alexandria)

Are you ready for some football? We are! We are holding a little competition in our store: we challenged our Team Members to create a football snack which incorporates one of our 365 Brand beans into their recipe. We are asking customers to sample the different recipes and vote for their favorite!
Each of the recipes will be budget-friendly. Our private label 365 Brand offers quality and affordability, and with so many different taste combinations, we’ll have you saying touchdown!

Game Day Extravaganza! (Falls Church)
