Star Wars: The Intergalactic Tour
Tysons Corner Center, Macy’s Court
Saturday 10 am-9:30 pm, Sunday    11 am-7 pm FREE
The tour will present a Jedi experience specially tailored for “younglings.” The environment will blend Star Wars characters and a variety of entertainment stations, which will offer a range of fun, interactive games and activities. Kids can choose to take a Lightsaber Skill Test, preview the soon-to-be released Clone Wars interactive game, take their picture with favorite Star Wars characters, get a sneak preview of the weekly adventure series in a special screening area, and even get a temporary Star Wars tattoo!

Oktoberfest Reston

The Greater Reston Chamber of Commerce is bringing Oktoberfest back to Reston Town Center. Featuring the best in fall brews and delicious traditional Oktoberfest fare from area restaurants and live entertainment.

Big Apple Circus

It’s the last few days that the circus is in town! Shows take place 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Friday, and 12:30 and 4:30 p.m. Saturday through Monday. Check the Web site for ticket costs and more information.

City of Fairfax Fall Festival

What started out as a small market for artisans to display their wares has grown to a festival with over 400 arts, crafts, information, food & gourmet food vendors, children’s activities and fabulous musical entertainment. Children’s entertainment to include the Great Zucchini and Rocknocerus, activities and rides will be located in front of City Hall. New this year – additional children’s rides will be located at the north end of the festival on University Drive near Old Town Village. We are also excited to be hosting the 3rd annual Fairfax Superstar, a singing competition for ages 3 – 18 years.
