DIY kid workshops

Upcoming are Lowe’s Build & Grow clinics in August, both taking place 10-11 a.m. on Saturdays. The workshops are recommended for kids in grades 1-5, but I’ve brought my 4-year-old and she’s had no problem. This is a DIY project, with parents’ help required. Register online.

  1. LOVE your blog and have already used your blog to do so many fun and interesting things in the area!

I don’t know if you want to add this for other moms or parents in the NOVA area, but I think it is pretty cool. The Washington Capitals have a kid club where you pay a small sign up fee and get free tickets to upcoming games, autograph sessions with players, and other special give aways. Its only for $15.00. The website is:

Certainly a great family event to go to on those during the cold months!

If you know of any other great kid clubs please let me know! Its so worth it!
