This Thursday, June 19, take advantage of National Amusement Theatres’ Baby Pictures program, when parents can watch currently showing films in a baby-friendly setting (dim lighting, lowered volume, baby changing stations in the theater and food cart with breakfast and concessions for sale).
Available at the Fairfax Corner 14: Cinema De Lux location, the film to be shown at 10 a.m. is Baby Mama, starring Tina Fey, Amy Poehler and Sigourney Weaver. Admission is $6.25; I’m assuming babies get in free!
The theater chain has a host of other kid-friendly movie promotions going on as well: KidToons offers G-rated movies every weekend at 10 a.m. at $3.50 for all tickets. For the month of June, KidToons viewers can catch National Geographic Kids’ Big Screen Safari, featuring an elephant explorer called “Mama” and a nature-loving pig ranger. This weekend, a monthly program called KidToons Storytime follows the film at 11:30 a.m., with storytime, activities, and a coupon for free pizza.
