In a city far, far away

Just kidding, it was only 3 hours: the City of Brotherly Love, Phildadelphia. I just posted the travel reviews for the Star Wars exhibit at the Franklin Institute in Philadelphia and Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ — both of which I took in with the kids in one day. Not something I’d advocate, but hey, somebody’s gotta do it. I’d go back for just one of those places in a heartbeat, or make a long weekend of it.

Other places that I also want to check out in the area are the Academy of Natural Sciences (really close to the Franklin Institute) and the Philadelphia Zoo (within a 10-minute drive). Both are on the list of six attractions covered by the Philadelphia CityPass, along with the Franklin Institute and Adventure Aquarium. The pass is $54 for adults, $37 for kids and is good for nine days.

For parents of toddlers and younger kids, I’d suggest the Please Touch Museum, which also is near the Franklin Institute.
