Between a rock and a bouncy place

Heads up people: I just posted my latest Theme Travel page. Indoor Hard Play lists open bounce times at NoVa indoor inflatable gyms and the Kids Nite at the Sterling and Alexandria Sportrock climbing centers.

Some upcoming family events I wanted to point out:

Family Bounce Night
Friday, Feb. 29     6-8 p.m.
The JumpWorks in Manassas debuts its first family open bounce night. If it’s successful, they’ll offer more in the future in addition to their regular open bounce times on Monday and Friday mornings.

Family Rock Climbing Night
Tuesday, March 4   6:30-8 p.m.
Sportrock‘s Sterling facility offers an apparently popular Family Night; the last two this month were sold out. Only 12 slots were available for the March 4 event. Bring kids as young as 6 years to learn how to climb, no experience necessary. Cost is $20 per person; all equipment is provided. Register online.

  1. Just came across your website and really liked some of your ideas. Thought I would post another great family night is Family Olympics at Jumping Jack Sports in Ashburn. Lots of family fun and includes dinner for $15 for adults and $10 for kids.

  2. I like the Open Gym times at Sport Bounce… lots of them! And Thursday nights we seem the same regulars which makes my daughter happy.
