And the diagnosis is in: it’s the flu, Type A. Went to the doctor this morning for the 4-year-old, and after cringing during a slight scolding for not getting them their flu shots, the doc gave us the good news. Good because she’s got Type A, whereas Type B is supposed to make for a nastier time with higher fevers.
We’ll probably have to take in the boys tomorrow since she’s apparently been infectious while she’s had the fever for the last two days. Here’s hoping it’s Type A.
And if you’re prescribed Tamiflu, call your pharmacy before you head over there; the folks at CVS told me this morning that they were running low because of the recent demand.
